I'd get far more pleasure from beating Bury than I do when we beat Blackburn.

Blackburn fans really aren't that arsed about losing to us. Bury fucking hate us.

Last time we played them at the Reebok and we thrashed them (4-0?) I'll never forget us singing the simple but effective "Let's all laugh at Bury" They didn't like that one bit.

I liked the bloke that tried to jump over the segregation netting,he wasn't a happy bunny at all!...Didn't Arnie score 2??

Remember the return fixture on that Friday night,I honestly didn't know how much they despised us until that night.Fuck me,their snarling little faces in that stand to the left. One big blonde fella was furious throughout the whole game, bouncing around like a div.

I must admit, I was quite angry myself after that Friday night game.

Wasn't Colin Wanker their manager back then? Cunt.

Gonz - yeah, Arnie scored a couple and Johansen score a belter too. Can't remember who got the other..

A game against Bury would at least raise hopes of geographical accuracy in the "small town..." song.

We weren't far above that back in the 'good old' 80s.

Burnden didn't always have 50,000 on, despite what some fans say.

sorry to burst your bubble but what about that cold Tuesday night against Darlington? I hear it was a sell out...

Aren't bury fans 'boycotting' the fa cup?

After they got kicked out t'other year.

Probably, think it was the Sherpa Van trophy last night though

Aren't bury fans 'boycotting' all home games?

They have done for years, mate.

The odd early round FRT tie aside, we were more than double that at worst.

The Darlo game should really be a given for all proper fans, but how many of you were amongst the 1,507 who saw David Reeves score a hat trick against Rochdale in the Autoglass Trophy?

Was at both.

shit fan now though!

I went to the Rochdale game then on to Ritzy, I think.
