December 6, 201213 yr I didn't have much to choose from so almost certainly ,Harrington, black paralells, with either Docs or brogues......& long scruffy hair. Bad as the "Rod Stewart" haircuts were, the later tight perms were even worse. Thankfully I avoided any organised hairstyles but with hindsight the slip on clogs were probably a mistake I'd love to see the pictures.

December 6, 201213 yr i'm not bothered one way or the other but, if you want to post anything you think you perhaps shouldn't, that is good enough reason to run it by unhappy first it only needs one cockend to decide its the fault of wways that blood gets spilled at a blackpool bolton game and its unhappy who will be getting mithered all things considered, it probably serves no purpose that outweighs the potential grief if anybody is bothered, they can be emailed, surely
December 6, 201213 yr I was there with me mate and his owd chap. I would have been 11. Shit scared I was - sat in the seats (to the right of the Spion Kop as you looked out) - and it was my first sense of real fear at a match. When they came for the return at BP on a Tuesday night, I was in the Manny Rd stand earlyish and watched as about 30 of em on the Embankment tied some rope around the plastic lettering of an advert at the back of the terrace (Magees Ales or summat). Incredible act of wanton vandalism it was, as with one huge yank on said rope - the fucking letters tumbled like dominoes. Never forgiven the Mandarins for that so fuck em and get em on. Oh and obviously RIP and all that bollocks.

I'm shit at uploading actual photos,waiting on Gonzo to nip over and do it for me. December 6, 201213 yr Talking of Newspaper clippings... Do you remember Boycey the Barnsley lad off the old ITK/Doddy Board many moons ago Miami??...Smiffs will remember him. About ten years ago,He sent me a full folder of Photo-copied Bolton newspaper clippings...everything was in there,all the 70,80's stuff,operation Gamma stuff,Southend riot,Aldershot,Stoke on Normid car park etc,the attempted setting of the police box at Burnden etc etc,there was fucking loads of it.Most reports had a full list and occupation on those arrested!... He acquired them all after pretending to be a student doing a study on the subject and sending off for clippings to every local rag in the Uk!...the sad fucker had clippings from every major set of lads in the country,including his beloved 5'0... Its buried,or at least I hope its buried under a mountain of White Love fanzines,Bolton Videos,and my own sad little late 90's+ scrap book in my mums loft. Edit...Last time I saw Boycey was at a punk fesitval in Blackpool,where he took me back stage to meet the band NOFX,who's guitarist had one eye and was openly smoking a crack pipe,and I spent the day with his mates,who were Millwalls top boys!...One of em Ray was 54 got done for kung-fu kicking a police man on a horse after their play-off v Brum! haha Edited December 6, 201213 yr by gonzo
