set off early doors all fine, got to Bootle and it was like a blizzard. Didn't even put the ladder up,had a brew and headed back home. Feet up now with a Vimto Brandy.

one good thing were the roads, virtually clear all the way back, looks like most people have decided to be sensible for once and only make journeys that are necessary

Drove through Bubble central earlier and its 3 inches deep, poor pisscans will get their kids slippers wet when they send em for electric.

Whereas here in FY5 the snow took one look at the amount of mobility scooters and thought fuck that, poor cunts will never make the social club for Bristol Creams.

I'm in work till 5.30 whatever the weather. That'll be bacuse i'm not a fucking teacher.

So I take it parents have to arrange to get their kids from school somehow.

Why don't kids make their own way home anymore? It was a badge of honour walking to and from primary school, if you were still escorted/dropped off when you were at secondary school you were considered a bit odd...This is late 80s and early 90s not in the dark recesses of time.

At my school,You were kicked across the playground by anyone in a higher year if you had silver buttons on your blazer instead of plastic maroon ones.

I'm also in work til 5pm but some of the women are worried about how little Billy will get home from school and also complaining about struggling to walk in their high heels.

My advice of not to wear them didn't go down well.

High heels in this weather - are they stupid??

Even I've come to work in Uggs today.

I do most cold days. It's a warmth competition at my age not a fashion one.

At my school people flicked spitballs on you if you wore a blazer (aside from the 1st year, when everyone had to.)
