Sweep Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 What year is it there? Judging by the dress sense of the locals, I would suggest around 1974 Quote
Guest bwfcdan Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Just a light dusting of snow in Garstang. Hopefully the snow will hold off today until I finish work, then I can get home in a reasonable time. Quote

Winchester White Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 By Christ its cowd. Started a little again now in Aggy, nice dusting but nothing too major. Wonder how many schools are shut today though... Quote
Smiffs Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I am also one of only three people staying in the Park Inn this evening......how the fuck does this place stay open? No idea. If it was an independant it would have shut ages ago. Being part of Raddison must be the only reason it can be staying open. I drive past there early doors nearly every day and the car park is always empty. Shame really becuase its a decent place too but for what they're charging it should have been built with a pool/spa. That gym is nowt but a room with a few running machines and bags of sand. Quote

I agree, I get charged £60 for B&B - and they also tried to charge me £14 for WiFi...they were told to get fucked, so ended up giving me it for nothing. To be fair the rooms are pretty good though, and the food isn't too bad Quote

I think they;ve tried to peg their prices like the holiday inn and those at Haydock but missing by a mile. Greyhound is even less and has a pool. But then again the place is filthy. Theres a reason they're the only place round here where you can roll up at 4am and book a room. Quote
little whitt Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Judging by the dress sense of the locals, I would suggest around 1974 y has Leigh White just walked past Quote

Andydee Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Pretty constant for the last hour or so and starting to cover the roads on Horridge border now and drifting with the wind. Seems a lot less traffic around. Sod's law, unusually I have to go out to Westhoughton in a couple of hours! Quote

Still coming down steadily - I defoinitely made the right choice not to go into the office. If this carries on all day it's gonna be pretty deep. Think on all you poor suckers who will need to drive home later... Quote
