A man/nutter tried getting into my car at me tonight on my way to work. Just be careful you lock your doors! Never been so scared! I was like the stig doing 100mph in reverse! (He'd blocked the front of my car so I couldn't drive forward)

Will be reported tomorrow first thing. One of the men I work with went looking for him 30 seconds later (when I got to work) and couldn't find him anywhere. I'd ring the police now. But the patient I'm caring for is asleep and I dont want him getting upset (hes got a severe brain injury and gets emotional)if the police come in the middle of the night to do a statement.

pepper spray and a stanley knife is better, you will faff around with the bat and he may snatch it off you, its better to spray pepper spray in the eyes then slash his face

Thankfully it sounds like you got away lightly though no doubt you feel shaken. Can you lock your car doors centrally? I think pepper spray is a great idea in or out of the car but some sort of personal alarm would be advisable too...

I usually do lock my car centrally, it's just this off chance I didn't. My cousins a copper and even she said she'd shit it!
