February 20, 201313 yr It'll probably come down again in a couple of years when you turn 40 as well and no-one can find the road it's parked on anyway!
February 20, 201313 yr and no-one can find the road it's parked on anyway! I saw that this morning. I didn't have the energy to ask the hard hats what the fuck they were doing. I take it it's related to a catholic football club run by a woman who looks like she gave up on her appearance decades ago?

Like all groundworkers they stood around for about an hour, checked their folders of risk assessments and method statements then fucked off somewhere else!!
February 20, 201313 yr Parking on the street can be cheaper than on your driveway. All depends on claims in your area. Just got my renewal 3 year NCB 1.3l engine for me and the wife £828. Bought new car at weekend 3l group 19 shopped around and cheapest so far £833. Cheap eared for me used to be direct line, then admiral and co, now time to swap again.

How old are you? 18? £800+is extortion
February 20, 201313 yr How old are you? 18? £800+is extortion 22 year old at work, hers is £900 for a corsa.
February 20, 201313 yr 22 year old at work, hers is £900 for a corsa. Is that more than the cars worth?
February 20, 201313 yr 27 but had an accident 2 years ago that wiped my NCB down to 1 year. Metro taxi c@"ts. £800 + seems more value for money on our new car than a little Suzuki swift.
February 20, 201313 yr Is that more than the cars worth? It's a 57 plate so I'd say not. It is a shame for the young uns who want to build up their no claims but fuck um, as long as mine stay low
February 20, 201313 yr After watching Daybreak this morning where 17 year olds are getting quoted anything from £3K-£16K, I'm gutted for my daughter who is all set to start learning. Heard there's a few schemes that help reduce the insurance (pass plus, time curfews, etc)... but seems extortionate. Lad on Daybreak said that he had mates driving without insurance. £3K insurance vs £300 fine for not having any.... no brainer.
February 20, 201313 yr Lad on Daybreak said that he had mates driving without insurance. £3K insurance vs £300 fine for not having any.... no brainer. He'd think so if he has an accident.
February 20, 201313 yr He'd think so if he has an accident. Said that car was only worth £400. But I know what you are saying. You can see why they are taking the risks. Said they'd had a drop-off of 20% this year on youngsters taking up driving.

February 20, 201313 yr i'll swap, 3200 a year with 6 years no claims bonus... 29 yr old, clean license held for 12 years inc advanced driver training.
February 20, 201313 yr First quote my lad got last year after passing was £3.6k but eventually got it down under £1500. You do have to trawl the market.
February 20, 201313 yr Stop this whiplash claim bollocks and insurance co's stop taking the piss....hopefully Also stop cunts selling on the information, which is every bit as bad

I think her dad should think about the taxiing potential and just stump up the cash
