fatolive Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Tesco insurance: £1300 renewal, 8 years no claims, went on that fat singers site, same cover from Axa for £500. Even Tesco came up on there £200 quid cheaper than the price they quoted me after being with them for years. was £650 last year with Tesco, think they just raise it thinking half the folk wont be arsed changing. Tesco used to do this with us all the time. Used to ring them up, they'd put you through to the 'retention team' and hey presto, premium suddenly lowered. Recently though, they stopped lowering their price- result- lost a customer Quote

stevieb Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 I should not be replying to this as I'm on holiday but the more than the cars worth argument is the shittest argument ever. If you are in a clapped out 150 quid nova and go into the back of a car with 5 people in your looking at 10k plus just on whiplash. Add vehicle damage and any real injuries or a multiple collision or property damage or whatever else and that's the reason most policies have a 2 million liability limit. I suspect you know this though. Quote
DazBob Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Worrying.........very worrying! Haha - you don't remember the conversation..? Quote

frankietheman Posted February 21, 2013 Posted February 21, 2013 Looked on compare the market - lowest quote was £400 plus swiftly rising to over a grand. Checked on Moneysupermarket.com and lowest quote was £190 slowly rising from that down the list. Finally accepted renewal from LV at £228 - good company with decent service. (Also "which" recommended company. Quote
