February 25, 201313 yr I believe that he needs game time but the development squad or whatever it's called have had a few postponed??
February 25, 201313 yr Why doesn't the club inform us if he is injured or not You're right. Doogie or Phil should be calling all fans personally to give us an update.
February 25, 201313 yr You're right. Doogie or Phil should be calling all fans personally to give us an update. Great I cant wait for the phone call Can I choose who actually rings though because I want Dougie not Phil
February 25, 201313 yr You're right. Doogie or Phil should be calling all fans personally to give us an update. Or a text, at least
February 25, 201313 yr They have both just knocked on my door. I didn't answer as I thought it was the window cleaner on his collection. I only realised as they were getting back in their car
February 25, 201313 yr Nixon reckons he" Holden" is moving freely, and pain free, just needs to get back to speed with his match fitness.
February 25, 201313 yr Nixon reckons he" Holden" is moving freely, and pain free, just needs to get back to speed with his match fitness. Development squad have home matches at Leyland on: March 4 & 18 and April 4, 8, 11 & 15. Plus away matches on March 11 and April 22 & 29.
February 25, 201313 yr Problem with this one is that Holden is out of contract at season end, where do the club go with it, either offer him a one year contract and see how he gets on, or wait and see if any Premier league team take a gamble, getting him for nowt, funny one this, could be another Sean Davis, on the other hand could be another Wilshere scenario, for me 12 month contract best all round.
February 25, 201313 yr If they think he'll play for us regular again they should offer him 12 months Even if he isn't quite as good as he was, he'll be a good squad player, particularly if we don't sign Spearing
February 25, 201313 yr Coyle plucked him from nowhere 500 per week to 15k or so wasn't it? How many games have we had over the 3 years. So, does he owe us?
February 25, 201313 yr Medas come in DF can ease off rushing him back plus pratleys playing really well once we're 100% safe and or mathematically out the playoff picture he'll get game time - god willing Holden plays for us again absolute credit to himself but he's not a priority for DF right now - he is ruthless is our Douglas
February 26, 201313 yr Can see us offering him a 12 month contract with a clause in if he plays so many games next season an extra year or two is triggered
February 26, 201313 yr I think he'll be released at the end of the season. Edit - To expand, I just think if he's gonna struggle to break into the team before the end of the season or he's not able to play week in week out because of his knee, then it's pointless keeping him. I hope though he does get back into the team though. Would be shite to see him leave like that. Edited February 26, 201313 yr by bwfcdan
February 26, 201313 yr They have both just knocked on my door. I didn't answer as I thought it was the window cleaner on his collection. I only realised as they were getting back in their car window cleaner in salford now i know you joking. Unless the were carrying sanders.
February 26, 201313 yr I think he will be class again if his body allows He appears to have a fantastic attitude and that's a big part of it after such setbacks I'd therefore gamble and offer him a (sensible) contract Albeit with the correct get out clauses, should injuries curtail him any longer I'd like to think if anyone would, he would take into consideration BWFC's loyalty and patience whilst he's been out But then who really knows
Still injured?
