Off out there with 8 other blokes on Saturday.

Are we going to have to split into groups of 3 / 4 to get in anywhere?

A bit out of the way but if your lad boozing, I always used to enjoy the didsbury dozen. No hassle getting in anywhere and always a good laugh. Northern quarter is probably best avoided if there is a few of you.

Canal Street by the sounds of it.

Seven Oaks, Chinatown is my fav haunt

The unicorn will have scrotes selling knock off wares they have just robbed from the arndale.

Fact.

The Abercrombie is a good pub with very fit barmaids.

The Peverel is one of my faves.

Never fucking open when I try and have a midweek pint though.

Canal Street where I meet most of my customers

brewdog is my establishment of choice at the minute, on peter street

but you'll generally probably struggle with 8 lads, even splitting up, unless you drink in "proper" pubs like the Briton's Protection

Was gonna say with 8 of you it'll be a struggle. Probably best going the rising sun, nags head, Abercrombie pub route with City arms, protection or grapes thrown in. You'll struggle in the northern quarter

meldrews your man

he'd have you in some shameless joints up oldham street

Go to Blackpool! They let large groups of notrights in anywhere there....allegedly.

Went last weekend and going against tomskis advice slightly, the 7 of us found it easier getting in bars around the northern quarter than anywhere else.

The tib street tavern,as recommended by Jules, on surprisingly tib street in the northern quarter is spot on to pitch up for the afternoon for the football etc.loads of screens etc....and the toilets have secure cubicles.

Some other cracking little pubs around there also...

Had a nightmare getting in places around Piccadilly especially as we edged towards night time.

Agree with the tanned one on this. I have had very few problems getting in to NQ bars in groups

You'll struggle in the likes of blu but that's wank anyway, and maybe the others round that part

Good shout on the tib st tavern, if you like your ale then the port street beer house should be reet as well

Does the Brunswick count? Always been very accommodating so far as gay pile ons are concerned

Brewdog is literally next to my office

Full of wankers with beards smoking rollies outside......Zico?

Used to live up between The Angel and The Marble Arch, nearby the new Co-op building, they're both pretty good and at least one does excellent food. The pubs on Liverpool Road are worth a visit too, The Ox, Red Lion and Cask - where they let you eat your food from the chippy next door in there too. Close also to another couple of decent ones like the Deansgate and The Knott. I keep ending up in the Liars Club whenever work goes out at the moment, I don't like it, and its fast becoming one of those places you can only think of vomit whenever you're reminded of it.

The Angel is decent

So is that chippy on Liverpool Road. If you eat upstairs in there mind your head on the stairs though

Liars club has only ever gotten me absolutely wankered on shots and daft drinks.....it's like following Alice down the rabbit hole in there

Exactly the same with me the Liars Club - Im not that into shots or cocktails, yet end up on them anyway, and then after that the whole night is a write off. All I can think of is sick in that place, same with TV24 in Northern Quarter, couple of bad nights in there and now its black listed for me - and that's despite having a Predator in the window!

Cocktails, they're the devil's work. We've done the Liars lub a couple of times with work and I've gone for the less alcoholic ones.

It's a bit embarrassing when you fall off the escalator in Harvey Nics after a few in their bar.

Ha! And quite the place to do it too. Work nights out for me usually coincide with having no tea either so shots/cocktails are just a stupid idea

I wouldn't smoke rollies, nearly as bad as menthol cigs, jules

Cracking ale though

What was the bar we went in after Stoke away last year?
