Considering we took 4,000 to Blackburn, we would expect around 4,500 to travel to Bolton. I know our away stand is small so perhaps you are returning the favour, but is there any reason why the allocation is so small compared to the Premier League game?

One of the posts on there read something like taking liberties on the concourse...if that was aimed at us, I can't remember Blackpool ever taking liberties, they have never been able to handle us home or away, so am surprised at that comment

Depends how far you're willing to travel really mate. Most of the pubs in close proximity to the station are shit, but if you turn left at the lights instead of heading down the highstreet, and head down towards Staples (they sell office shit), you'll find a few decent boozers round there.

There's a weatherspoons & a few decent little traditional type pubs on that stretch of road. The area's called Friargate.

 

It's only a 10min walk from the station. (15min if you're a fat cunt )

Not sure why people are getting worked up. I don't feel like I am getting 'panned', just enjoying the banter. People need to chill out.

 

Yes, I got my figures wrong. I thought we would be given 4-5k and I still believe we would have sold out because it would have hit general sale to begin with. However, the small allocation has caused our stupid banding system to kick in which makes it difficult buying tickets in groups. I got it wrong but I will survive and get over the embarrassment.

And let's be honest, apart from the away portaloos, etc, the ground has improved immensely and most Blackpool fans thought we would never get over 10k again, nevermind 13k as an average in a struggling season!

The views are acceptable. I sometimes go in that temporary stand and nothing wrong with it in terms of views. But yes, the facilities on offer are a disgrace. The away fans should get the same treatment as home fans.
