BL2wanderer Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Us old uns have seen it all before, hopefully it will be sold out in the home end, if not, fck it, as Colin would say MAKE SOME NOISE FOR THE BOYZ!! Quote
Didledee Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 We've needed points on last day at The Reebok before, 2-2 draw with Villa got us UEFA Cup and a 2-1 win v Boro got us survival. Quote
Zico Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Beating Norwich 1-0 in 2000 lined up Ipswich... A very similar run in to this one as well, a very similar season league wise... Quote

Didnt we have to beat Wolves the season before to make play offs?? or was that the penultimate game? Quote
Zico Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Holdsworth 1-0? Didnt we have to beat Wolves the season before to make play offs?? or was that the penultimate game? Didnt recall how that season ended, checked and after bury beat us 2-1 we drew 1-1 at home with wolves and finished 6th winning at Pompey 2-0, 3 points ahead of wolves Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Why is it a 12.45 kick off? More bollocks from the FA? Quote
Zico Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Guessing it's because SKY will want to show some games live and can't if it's 3 o clock on the Saturday Owt else would prob clash with PL games on the Sunday I'd blame SKY Quote

We all have to play at the same time and sky probably want to show a game so 12:45 it is Quote

MalcolmW Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 It's all about the premier league. Having the Championship finale early on Saturday will enable Sky to spout off about 2 of the teams promoted to the premier league and the 4 contesting the play-offs, before spending the rest of the afternoon on premier league fixtures. The relegation battle remains tight! Quote

Carlos Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Surely that would mean WINNERS are down? Which as we all know, isn't possible. Quote
smithills_gent Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 (edited) Surely that would mean WINNERS are down? Which as we all know, isn't possible. Not at all, Villa winning means a few others can go down.Newcastle would be the funniest. Thing about Villa is they have to be 4 points above Wigan before the last match for the unthinkable to happen. Edited April 27, 2013 by smithills_gent Quote
