I have, I sometimes time walks to see it too . It's amazing isn't it? And I sometimes find myself waving too before I realise what a simpleton I must look if anyone could see me.

The dog just looks at me & shakes her head. :D

Transfering command in 3/4 of an hour.

watched it a couple of weeks ago on my own. A truly awesome 4 mins. There are a couple of websites that show precisely when and where you can see spacecraft with the naked eye

Indeedy. It's nice to have time outside alone just looking up. No telescope, just you, your eyes and all the shit up there. & seeing it move across the sky, I think is beautiful.

I use Preston. Fill your boots, kids :D

We were in Scotland, in an area with not many lights around, last August, coming out of a restaurant on the way back to our b&b and it went over. I hadn't realised it was going over, but it couldn't be mistaken for anything else. Amazing, I wave at it too.

You'll be pleased to know NB, that a lot of local authorities are looking at replacing standard lampposts with LED lighting which will significantly reduce light pollution. This will mean you can see a lot more with the naked eye.

Used to time walks to see the space shuttle going over when it was in service, always found it very inspiring even though it just looked like a fast moving star

I've seen one blast off in Florida. Fucking amazing and I bring it up pretty regular just to piss off my friend who's a space lover too. It's his own fault for letting me know it pisses him off :D

Oh Id loved to have seen a space shuttle take off! One of the greatest technological achievements in history for me, used to enjoy getting my geek on whenever they lifted off listening to the communications and watching the shock diamonds firing out of the engines. Them days are gone!
