But go to mainland Europe and a pound to a penny you hear Flea's popping wanky bass lines over a radio station or bump into a kid with that shit logo tshirt within half an hour. Should have stayed under that pissing bridge. I agree. The guy's vocals are a monotone.

Blood sugar sex magick was/is an ace album, not got much time for owt after that Around 92 I was getting into music and it was a funk rock/metal path I went down RHCP, RATM and Faith No More - they had a bit more going on with their sound than your guns and roses and Metallicas, also was getting into prince, which is in keeping with the funky side of things
June 1, 201313 yr Blood sugar sex magick was/is an ace album, not got much time for owt after that Remember getting in from work/school (88/89) one Friday evening and both RHCP & Faith No More were on the chart show. Chilis played "Fight like a brave" whilst FNM played "We care a lot" with Chuck Moseley on vocals. Day after I went into town and had the choice of buying either the Chilis album or FNM's "Introduce Yourself".... I chose the latter and still have it on vinyl somewhere. I'd have said both bands were more punk than metal at first. Fave RHCP album was "Mothers Milk".... Knock Me Down is a great tune. As is Subway to Venus.

Seen them 4 times now and they just get better every time you watch them and yes it's fooking mental down the front, back, side, bar! My mate watched them in Manchester at a small gig before the release of their first album, where they basically came out on stage and set each other on fire then all jumped in the crowd.
