I thought that was decent bait for the animal lovers on here.

I'll have to do better.

Do you know,  I really hate it when it's called that. It's horrid.  I prefer the proper sweary words than that!

It had to be said in this particular thread. Truthfully I don't think theres an acceptable alternative. Hate T, C, Flower, Mary or any of the ones the savages will come up with. We should campaign for an alternative term.

I don't mind mary, but it may well ruin a moment of passion calling it that  :D

There's a girl at work calls hers Daisy.  She's been told to find an alternative!

Whats wrong with a good old fashioned name "fanny" - that word seems to have gone out of fashion

true story

many moons ago my uncle was fitting new windows at my parents.

he put in the glass and started to putty around, then nipped to the van. there was an almighty smash, the window was broke and the putty had vanished.

he got some more glass fitted it,put the putty in,went for a brew and the glass smashed again. The putty had vanished again.

for a third time,he got some glass, put it in followed by the putty then went for a pee. again,a loud smash of glass and there was no putty agin.

he thought i was taking the piss, whereas we thought there was a ghost in the house.

so he asked me to go to the glaziers with him and stay with him at all times.

we got back, fitted the glass, ran the putty round, then decided to hide behind the sofa to see what happened.

bizarrely a big bastard cat appeared from nowhere and ate all the putty.

and if you're wondering

it was a Putty Cat
