Calories don't necessarily fill you up though - ie full fat coke

Most breakfast cereals contain an alarming amount of salt and sugar. You might as well eat the box it comes in, there's probably more nutritional value in it.

The best i've found so far is the Original Museli from Holland & Barratt. The advantage with museli is that you can add stuff to it like fruit for a bit of variety.

isn't porridge supposed to be a very good thing to eat for breakfast?

I must admit I never eat breakfast, I never feel hungry when I wake up. I'm also a lazy fucker and stay in bed until the last possible minute, thus ensuring no time for food even if I am/was hungry.

Once I get to about ten o'clock though, I'm as hungry as fuck and can then think about eating food

I need to change my ways

Anybody else here to lazy/bone idle to bother with brekkie?

Yep, I'm exactly the same.

I don't eat anything until about midday during the week.

Never done me any harm though so don't see any reason why I should change my habits.

I presume they keep you "regular" as well

I didn't have my own today so nipped to the local starbucks for Porridge and honey

The filthy bastards gave me marmalade instead

Love porridge though

I have those belvita biscuits. Not a clue if they're full of stuff I shouldn't eat but they seem alright.

Saturday, never have breakfast, maybe a pint if it's match day :) Sunday only if I have company and then it turns into a big meal which lasts till tea time.

you've got a tapeworm?

Weetabix is what I have, look at the ingredients, It's one of the best things going. Compare the ingredients with other cereals, especially the sugar content. I add strawberries to it in season.

Started the year off on porridge, mainly with my own fruit in it, but made with hot water rather than milk.

Then I got into granola with fat free yoghurt. Love it. But not convinced its as healthy as it seems. There's wheatfree granola out there but its pretty pricey.

Had Weetabix for first time in a long while this morning - as boring as porridge to eat - but reckon its as good as anything else.
