When is it?

  • Author

2nd November.

Can get down for £12.90 with a railcard, but it's £24 to come back on the Sunday.

Driving will be better than a 5 hour train journey after a big session.

Very tempted for this.

Very tempted for this.

There should be a few cars from Chorley and Madlington.

Excellent cheers for this Ive been hovering around Trainline the last couple of days hoping prices would drop.

Trains a hassle if you are coming back Sunday. Over 5 and half hours due to bud replacements.

Cat piss is an adequate replacement for Bud

I am going to go to this game as I have never been to Bournemouth. Train looks favourite with an overnight stay methinks...

61 each friday to sunday

could be a decent weekend

My brother lives in Southampton so I'm driving down and making a weekend of it, not far from there to Bournemouth

Friday - Sunday by air to Southampton is £ 109 beats 5 hours on the train.

Can do that for around £60 a head (last time i checked) if we get enough people together.

I don't want the responsibility though.

Family in Bournemouth, we'll probably he there.

I reckon this would be a fantastic coach trip

Obviosuly will need a bog on it.

Who's organising it?

In for the stopover

I'm sure when I looked the other week, it was 60 odd quid return with flybe to southampton

Can only find trains for around £53 return from Manc but its still far better than some of the early prices Id seen.

Would have loved a weekend down there, but its in the same month as my holiday so cheaper the better!

Obviosuly will need a bog on it, and some fold down mirrors on the back of each seat for doing in Bing

:glare:

Part of the Bournemouth to Waterloo journey on the Sunday is by coach due to engineering works apparently.

just paid £49 for Brighton think that's ok for Bournemouth £53,early days but think there's a coach being sorted for a day trip it all depends on how many are staying over.

Last time I went there was on the League liner when they beat us 2-0
