February 23, 201610 yr Slightly off topic ,but got an sony android tv a few months ago and you can sideload apps like firestick, its great and most apps work fine. Use it know instead of my T8 box. Can you record on it?

February 24, 201610 yr Stand at the side of your telly and point your phone at the droidbox and the programmes will transfer automatically. Clever stuff.

February 25, 201610 yr Is this using a usb stick to side load apps directly to the tv? No. Download the app or a apk file to your phone and then use the app E S Explorer on the same wi-fi to move it across to the tv and install. Like you can do on a firestick.
