Been looking at these android tv boxes does any one on here have any knowledge about them and can you get a good amount of channel's on them

I might be wrong but the usual sources pop up a load of adverts and shit. This is more channel based than per game.

The one I use carries all the sky channels, bt sport and the espn ones, as well as at the races and racing uk and I just run adblocker to stop any ads.

Card sharing has been around for ages, Sky weren't really arsed as its useage was minimal due to every fucker stealing Virgin instead.  Once Virgin made it really difficult to steal thier product folk moved on to robbing off Sky.  They are just getting round to putting a stop to it now.

Called round to a mate's on Saturday and he's got jailbroken apple TV.  Looks exactly the same as what I'm getting.  Anyway, the quality of the picture was faultless.

Well my 1channel stopped working, no idea why. Had used it to watch some filums, which is quite useful (for free).

 

I've changed my repository to http://xfinity.xbmctalk.com/ and installed Mashup from there, I also installed their wizard and it all works again.

Got all my Portuguese SportTV channels and currently watching O Preço Certo (The Price is Right) on RTP1. Boooooom.

I'm up and running!

 

For £75 its a bargain. Can't seem to find an HD stream for Sky Sports, but still plenty good enough for me.

 

The amount of films and TV shows tgare available is just ridiculous!

Got a Sky Sports HD link on now using SportsDevil for the Fulham match. It's HDish but not proper HD. It's not costing me owt though.

Just installed it all on my phone (s4) and ordered myself a hdmi tv output from my phone. Should be up and running when it arrives and on the phone to cancel my sky

Agree but the apple TV's chipped appear to be £150+

To summarise. I can either get a box for this attached to the TV - presume this needs the Sky dish cables running into it????

Just go into the settings on my iPad or old iPhone and use that to run this XBMC and then get a cable to link to the TV??**

I think (but I may well be wrong!) you have to jailbreak your apple product to run XMBC on it.
