November 27, 201312 yr Why do people have so much trouble using it. Its colour coded for fucks sake and hardly the most complicated roundabout? I use it every day. It really should be the easiest of all roundabouts but pretty much guaranteed you'll see someone in the right hand lane of the slip road then try and dive straight into the third lane of the roundabout ... and straight into the side of you if you've not got your wits about you. They'll then go three quarters of the way around the roundabout and still end up in the wrong fucking lane and then have to force their way back in.
November 27, 201312 yr Simister should be easy. Coming from the M67, onto Denton Island, I haven't got a fucking clue how to turn right onto the M60. I'd rather go left and go clockwise than risk it.
November 27, 201312 yr I use Simister all the time and didn't realise it was colour coded. Mind you, I'm colour blind anyway, so I'd not know where I was going.
November 27, 201312 yr I still have nightmares about those massive roundabouts in central Paris with no lane markings.
November 27, 201312 yr Author Twats driving the wrong way down cheetham hill rd. Just because 1 does it, don't feel the need to join in!
November 27, 201312 yr Started using Simister a lot in Sept on my way to Trafford in a morning.Fucking diabolical. Gave up in the end and went one junction more and then cut across by Heaton Park,Cheetham Hill and Pendleton. Saves me 10 mins to boot and far less stressful. That stretch from Simister to Eccles interchange is going to be "muuuurrrduur" when they start to widen it in the next 3 years.

So 100 cars moving through a fixed volume over a fixed distance at 10 mph will produce less pollution than say 105 at 60 mph. Aye! What a load of tossers!
November 27, 201312 yr according to the highways agency, public consultation process is still ongoing (ends Feb14) seems odd to scrap it now http://www.highways.gov.uk/roads/road-projects/m60-junction-8-to-m62-junction-20/
