Cape Verde a bit further on from canaries if your just after beach & Sun

I'm going cape verde myself end of feb. Lazy week. Nice weather in mid to higher 20s apparently

I'd go to the canaries and in my experience Lanzarote is the best, try Playa Blanca, any further afield and it's a bit too far for a shortish holiday and for a little one to travel.

I'd recommend Cape Verde! Very chilled out place.

Turkey

Doing a weekend in Somerset end of March.

kips, i did playa blanca one june and it had to be the worst weather i've ever had on a foreign holiday

loads of cloud and downright cold at times

typical brit, on the bed covered in towels, yet it looked like a few miles away it was sunny

shame, cos it was a lovely resort

That's the luck of the draw but your right its a lovely resort very clean and good hotels.

Puerto Rico in gran canaria...

Or just round the corner...amadores...

Nice beaches plenty of bars...lively if you want it etc etc....

All you can't eat Chinese buffet's...right up your street... :-)

It's quite hilly...so check where your gonna stay...could be a ball ache pushing that pram...

Think we paid £700 each last April.

Would always recommend Amadores in Gran Canaria - great beach.

Went to Mas Palomas 3 years back and went to Amadores on the bus a few times, was a pub/bar on the beach owned by a Blackburn or City fan, cant remember. 1 Euro for amstel. The Mrs was on fat frogs or whatever the cocktail of smirnoff ice / blue wkd / orange breezer is called.. Absolutely steamers getting the bus back each day.

Ace holiday.

booked iT last week for next month, 680 a piece for a week AI

Looking for 2 weeks away and 680 a week is a bit rich for a poor man like me.

Puerto de mogan. Just further up the coast from amadores. Great for little ones - quiet, lovely beach, good restaurants, no hassle from touts, timeshare etc. Jump on the bus or Ferry to Puerto Rico if you want a bit more life.

Good lord is it

We've been in July

Bit of a breeze, no problem
