Well, except that Craig Davies was replaced by another striker, not a holding midfielder. In fact, we didn't bring on a holding midfielder at all today... a full back, a winger, and a striker. Swanny you are one of the few on hear whose comments I regard as spot on, but I haven't heard an argument as to why he should stay based on his management knowledge and skill, we are shipping goals and haven't played the same team once this season. We cant attract anyone atm with our financial position, DF has given Gartside and Eddie a plan, and for better or worse we are in the middle of that plan. If that means stripping all the "assets" and starting again, then so be it. We're dicing with transfer embargo's, alongside not being able to buy anyone, No manager (sad as it is) would want to take that risk. Old School managers that will work with the tools they have are very few and far between now.

I'd get rid sooner and use the rest of the season for the new Manager to look at the players in action rather than from pre-season training

But we're currently on target for around 50 points, which wouldn't have been enough in 5 of the last 20 seasons (Malcolm can correct me). It's tight, and getting tighter at the moment.
