March 31, 201412 yr Spent an hour last week walking round to find somewhere for tea. Went in Spoons for a pint "while we decide" and ended up staying in there instead. Haggis burger and a 500ml Staropramen for less than a tenner. Can't buy class, me.
April 1, 201412 yr The Wedgwood on the Royal Mile was very good when I went there - about 8 years ago mind!
April 1, 201412 yr Really nice restaurant I went to called the witchery We were highly recommended this, but ran of out time. Still popped in the following day and it looked superb. Up near the castle. Was going to recommend The Mulroy. Top notch. But appears its closed and due to reopen in new premises. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g186525-d2342775-Reviews-The_Mulroy-Edinburgh_Scotland.html
April 1, 201412 yr Author Thanks folks, I'm liking the look of the mussel and steak bar. Keep em coming?
April 2, 201412 yr The Ship On The Shore in Leith if you like seafood is lovely, nice location just to get out of the centre for a bit and pretty reasonably priced. It's next door to Malmasion. Pubs - The Doric or the Malt Shovel near the station are really good, if you like a rough and ready time place The Brass Monkey near the Festival Theatre is good and has a great atmosphere.
