April 1, 201412 yr Won all three matches since he's gone on loan there to give them a real chance of staying up. Looking at some of their forums they've been impressed with him. Really hope these competitive games mature him and he gets a chance when he comes back.
April 1, 201412 yr He'll look world class at that level. I think he has a decent future Yep, me too I think he'll get a spot with us in the next year or two once Medo is finally found out
April 1, 201412 yr You are Like with Mark Davies :p they actually remind me of each other. should do so much more than they actually do.
April 1, 201412 yr Hope he kicks on and turns out to be a good'n but im yet to see him have any impact on a reserves game.
April 1, 201412 yr once Medo is finally found out hahaha thats one well worn drum and its playing a proper shit tune
April 1, 201412 yr hahaha thats one well worn drum and its playing a proper shit tune He's hardly lighting up the championship having struggled to settle in a team in the lower reaches has he? Though admittedly he has been better in the past few weeks
April 1, 201412 yr How has anyone seen enough of vela to think he is good/shit/average ? He must have played nearly an hour for us so far.
April 1, 201412 yr How has anyone seen enough of vela to think he is good/shit/average ? He must have played nearly an hour for us so far. that's nearly an hour more than the usual
April 2, 201412 yr How has anyone seen enough of vela to think he is good/shit/average ? He must have played nearly an hour for us so far. 7 times apparently I'm guessing at maybe 3 starts in that.
April 2, 201412 yr I'm not going to get giddy at Vela playing well at that level. After all, Shrewsbury fans were wanking over Chris Eaves last season. However, what Vela needs is plenty of games under his belt and he's now finally getting that. Let's hope he can stear clear of injuries, come back in the summer and then be pushing for a place in our starting XI next season.
April 2, 201412 yr In reality we've seen Nowhere enough of Vela, but I think with some you can see if they're "footballers" or not He has that at the very least so I'm prepared to say he has a chance at making it And as we're further down than we've been used to (and some have us having expectations of just stopping up) then the requirements for someone like Vela to break through are obviously lower than they have been There's also less chance of us "buying better" if we don't have the income to spend
April 2, 201412 yr How has anyone seen enough of vela to think he is good/shit/average ? no but going off the impact of our previous great white hopes he'll be shit, so i've learned not to get excited about these things broadening things a bit, we had 3 kids on the bench on saturday i'm hoping we may see all three of em before the end of the season Edited April 2, 201412 yr by Casino
April 2, 201412 yr I'd wrote Vela off earlier this season but DF reckons his fitness levels were no where near high enough and recently he said Vela turned the corner fitness wise, I saw him play 90 minutes against Liverpool and 70 minutes against Everton at the Reebok when SH broke down, I saw a bit of a glimmer that he's now on the right track previously when I saw him he was a bit show boat for me with nothing solid in his game, this time I saw more grit and less show boat, I like that and think he's got a chance if he keeps that up.
April 3, 201412 yr more evidence that you have to read beyond the headlines in this case, if only to see the writer is an utter cock http://lionofviennasuite.sbnation.com/2014/4/2/5574758/josh-vela-im-better-than-every-bolton-midfielder
April 3, 201412 yr Not sure who the biggest cock associated with the club is, Les the Postman or the Lion of Vienna bloke. Close run thing. Fuck knows who they think reads the site, or what their aims are.
April 3, 201412 yr more evidence that you have to read beyond the headlines in this case, if only to see the writer is an utter cock http://lionofviennasuite.sbnation.com/2014/4/2/5574758/josh-vela-im-better-than-every-bolton-midfielder You certainly do What a shocking headline
April 3, 201412 yr What a dick. Terrible headline. Totally misinterpreted. I thought they were Wanderers fans. Shite stirring for no apparent reason.
April 3, 201412 yr Him again? In harsher moments I was hoping the next time we heard from him he'd be woodenly reading out a message decrying "The Kaffir in Muslim Lands..." dressed in an orange jumpsuit... But like I said, that's in harsher moments. They seem to be following the tabloids' 'map for success with England in the lead-up to World Cups, only at club level, the club they supposedly support.
