They were batting together yesterday. I had to be moved to long off and was told to be quiet after jnr had nicked one and didn't walk.

So, let's see if I have this right:

I'd have laughed too, if I thought I hadn't hit a ball and an opponent thought I did. I've seen one or two games where batters haven't walked. Ryan Garner isn't an unusual case.

Saw Ryan today at Macron. I asked him if he nicked a ball and didn't walk. He smiled and said, "Of course I didn't walk. I'm there to score runs." Fair point, I guess.I think the days of gentlemanly walking back to the changing rooms have long gone.
