Looks pretty smart, should do though for the cost. Going to be around the $1.2 billion dollar mark. Will hold around 65,000 expanding to 75,000 when required.

Whilst not a new ground, Marseilles Stade Velodrome has been refurbished for the Euro's in 2016. 3 sides have already been completed, the 4th and final side is almost done. Looks amazing to be fair.

 

 

 

 

Will hold around 67,000 once completed. Interesting floodlights, kind of 'old school'.

I saw a programme about the building of the Dallas Cowboys new stadium on Channel 5 last year. It holds 150,000 and has a massive screen that is almost as long as the pitch. All the behind the scenes facilities made The Emirates look like Gigg Lane.

I'm guessing they're temporary. They'll probably be adding lights to the roof when it's completed.

Real Madrid are hoping to redevelop the Bernabeu over the next 3/4 years. Going to cost around £330 million apparently. From the current renders, I'm not that keen.

The Texas Motor Speedway is putting in a new videoboard - To be nicknamed "Big Hoss"

 

It's dimensions are 214 feet long x 95 feet high

 

For comparsions sake the screen in the Cowboys stadium is only 160 x 72 feet

West Ham's new ground with retractable seating. There's going to be a very big gap between the upper and lower tiers. The lower tier will be accessed via a bridge which will span the gap.

 

They're incredibly fortunate to be inheriting a stadium in a setting like the Olympic Park. Can't wait until we play them there!

There's talk of them giving away free tickets to local schools and offering the bigger teams double the normal ticket allocation. They'll probably be able to offer fairly cheap season tickets as well since they're practically getting the stadium for free. You can see why Barry Hearn is concerned about Orient's future.

This article was from November last year. Looks like they're going to try to finish off the new ground, but just on a scaled down version to the original design.

Folk of WWays may like this one, it's going to hold the largest outdoor bar in North America. Will hold 18,000 on completion.

Theyve had problems with their Ultras at San Jose, only just been allowed to travel to away games again. I didnt think there were away followings in MLS apart from the close derbies.

 

Much prefer these smaller purpose built grounds for MLS teams rather than using the giant NFL ones. The Atlanta one looks impressive but it wont do when theres 13,000 inside it watching real football
