June 30, 201412 yr I was at that gig, along with Wackerchackers from here. Most of The Smythes were also in Re:Order (A New Order Tribute Band). They used to do a double bill. They were good too.

Total shit, they offer nothing, and I mean nothing to the musical landscape. Its dull, boring background crap and anyone who likes them knows nothing about music and needs to shut up and listen to me vent my spleen. I am right, you are wrong. Did anyone with a pair of eyes honestly believe that she was playing it? It was fucking bizarre! Nostalgia seems to have blinded a lot of folk.
June 30, 201412 yr I used to have a Christmas blow with a couple of Yorkshire lads one year about 2000 we had a heavy night plenty of ale and a few dabs of the strong stuff we ended up in Winstons massage parlour in Leeds about 4 in the morning, it was a surreal experience hookers and a spa/Jacuzzi pool at 4am in the morning after a bit of shenanigans and a massage ended having a sauna and then Jacuzzi, there was 3-4 lads who were Leeds fans in the Jacuzzi drinking champagne got talking to them and they were great lads and ex University they were out celebrating signing a recording contract I always wondered if that could have been the Kaizer Chiefs. Maiden, blow hot and cold, sometimes unbelievable live sometimes shit, it really does depend on the set list, it does seem to alternate one good tour one not so good. But for me PrIest take some beating live, good up and coming band are Sabaton from Sweden and the Answer from Ireland
