July 29, 201412 yr Me and the Mrs have decided to spend a few nights staying in Blackpool over the weekend we are playing there. So my question is can anyone recommend a nice decent hotel for us? Im looking at trivago and lastminute etc but nothing really jumping out. Anywhere nice to take her out for a meal? (browny points, so she wont moan to much when at the football.)
July 29, 201412 yr If you really want to stay over, then stay at Lytham St Annes. If you want to go out for a spot of lunch, then go to Bispham Kitchen restaurant, lovely fish and chips there.
July 29, 201412 yr http://www.numberonesouthbeach.com/ Try this gaff. Or like Dan say try Lytham or St Annes. There's some lovely hotels near Fairhaven lake. Resteraunts a plenty too, Portofinos being the best. Decent resteraunt around Blackpool center are hard to come by,Nunsio's isn't bad, either is Septembers. There's loads further afield.
July 29, 201412 yr Hotel opposite the ground is decent if you are happy with a premier inn type, prob not if the wife has input.
July 29, 201412 yr If you want to be near some night life mate, try McHalls hotel http://mchallshotel.co.uk/ It's got 5 star ratings on trip advisor. The rooms are superb and they have a bistro that is pretty much fully booked every week. It's bloody brilliant. It's just at the top Queens Square in bordering the old gay sector. Best B&B in Blackpool by a mile and smashing owners too.

July 29, 201412 yr you might get that at mchalls Haha he definitely would in Kaos just round the corner! Danny and Gavin the owners are top fellas, known the years. Don't think Bolty would get on with em mind. :-)
July 29, 201412 yr Bit further north, Doric on North Shore was very good when I stayed there last Feb, not far off Bispham Kitchen mentioned earlier and, if you fancy a nip up to Cleveleys, the Jolly Tars Wetherspoons on Victoria Rd East is a really decent one. Cliffs and Claremont are solid enough choices on North Shore if you want a bit of on-site entertainment thrown in, handy if it's chucking it down and you don't fancy going back out for the night
July 29, 201412 yr I've stayed in the number one hotel Plasma Screens, King Size Beds, and tv's in the bathrooms to built into the walls It's spot on
