I had such high hopes for the lad; Benitez obviously saw something that triggered him to sign him for Liverpool and he went on a decent scoring run for them once. Thought he'd kick on at a smaller club and do well, and while technically gifted, something just wasn't right.

 

We were linked with Cameron Jerome for the same fee at the time. In hindsight, I wished we'd signed him instead. I'm not Jerome's biggest fan and he's not the best technically, but always looks a handful against us. Gets up well too.

Don't think he's a full biscuit, thank fuck he's left BWFC.

Bring the lad home to The Macron, all he needs if a couple of goals in a game to start him off, and, voila, we have the finished article.
