Proper nice, bit tight in 9.5 like. German only release, hard to find.

 

Topanga from US took 5 days to arrive. Hamburg OG are worth double that price.

Well, Size has posted details of the "deadstock" stuff they'll be selling on opening day of their new Manchester store on Friday. Makes an absolute mockery of the supposed 1/500 range. And some of the prices are scandalous!

Probably people who've splashed out on the new releases - raising cash and making room.

 

You can generally tell if someones not arsed if they take a bath when they're selling by the timing of when the auction ends.

 

I sold loads of pairs during the past two years, mainly ones too delicately coloured to wear - meaning if you got even a spot of discolouration or shiny suede rub they'd have looked shite. I also sold off all my 9.5 (and in a couple of cases 9s - fuck knows what I was thinking buying them thinking they'd fit) that had zero give and wouldn't fit even with the inner sole removed.

 

The buyers I sold them to probably thought 'what a mug', but the cash came in handier than trainers I'd never wear and were a pain in the arse when I was doing the old box shuffling routine looking for a pair I wear (I keep my 'best' boxed - until they get worn in to the point that keeping them boxed is erm, pointless). I was surprised that a pair of Stan Smiths, I'd got boxless from TK Maxx of all places, fetched the best price of all the ones I sold - all blue 'uns, made of that large weave canvas, the 'stripes' composed of rivets/airholes rather than proper stripes.

 

And that's another bit of boring as fuck input for the day.

 

Those waterproof, have they got that nylon webbing on the side of the sole, like New York?

Got a pair of londons (blue /yellow) for £35 on friday... I bought the same ones for £100 a few weeks ago

I'm glad I queued up in the snow for the Birminghams for 4 hours only to get to the front and be told they'd just sold out.

250 for Manchesters though! Deffo moving mine on in the summer.

Whoever buys them will double their money, worth camping out for.

Tempted by the red or blue Munchens, no point me even trying for any of the more exclusive ones

They should have done them at RRP or for better PR sold raffle tickets with the dosh going to a local charity.

Seems like they've changed their minds and done exactly that!

I reckon they were selling at RRP but put silly prices to put off scalpers. Anyway, time to make up some aliases
