January 18, 201511 yr Am I the only one that just ties the feckers and gets on with it? I used to tuck em in but you end up fucking about with your shoes all day. Tie em in a reet big knot these days.
January 19, 201511 yr Size? in Manchester will soon be bigger than one of their shoeboxes ad they're moving to a decent sized unit further up market Street next door to the Nike shop. Keep an eye out for when.it opens for deadstock and money off promotions.

January 23, 201511 yr Fucking loads of Hamburg with white soles Manchester colourway looks mint, as do the black Goretex. Quality of Hamburg is good and they won't be slippy as fuck.
January 28, 201511 yr I've got a picture of the Jap munchen I can't upload. I need to see this! waiting for clearer pics before i make a judgement About two weeks too late (and really not worth your time and attention returning to these posts just for this but... ) HTH? To keep it trainer related, I have some white leather adidas, black velvety stripe and back logo - sort of like Superstar but with a leather shelltoe and black thick ripple sole - anyhow, they dated from the mid to late 90s - I bought 'em didn't like them and so stuck them back in the box and they've moved with me ever since... Anyway, I dug them out last summer - pristine they were, no yellowing, no cracking, they were like they were straight from the shop. I've since started to wear them, only occasionally, and mostly just around the house, the odd trip over the road to the pub or corner shop, but not out/out...In this short period they've disintegrated like a vampire in sunlight - they look absolutely f*cked now - like I've been wearing them for a weekly 5-side for about ten years... This leads me to thinking that no pair of trainers is worth £750, unless you plan on making them a museum piece. Chances are as soon as the trainers you've stored for years start getting worn, they'll look like shite very quickly - no matter how many puddles you jump or careful toothbrushings you give. Thoughts or experiences, anyone?
January 28, 201511 yr I hope he's got some form of dehumidification equipment in there too - glass cases are notorious as acting as a 'solar still' and attracting the damp...
January 28, 201511 yr Generally, I'm not paying over £100 for shoes. Some are worth it as an investment if someone needs the cash. Paying £750 for some Manchester isn't for me. I'd rather buy 5 x £150 pairs even.
January 28, 201511 yr I hope he's got some form of dehumidification equipment in there too - glass cases are notorious as acting as a 'solar still' and attracting the damp... You can be sure of it.
January 28, 201511 yr Has he got motion activated alarms and invisible laser triggers - for which you'd have to use that aerosol spray to show up?

January 28, 201511 yr haha the glass cases storage rumour is not true! Theyre on a display rack. What about dust etc.? I keep my good ones in their boxes in a cupboard (the ones I have left, I sold about twelve pairs I'd never wear/hadn't worn in the past year - apart from one pair got less than I'd paid) - the worn-in rest in those shoe hangers, but on a rack? They don't look like this do they? Edited January 28, 201511 yr by Youri McAnespie
January 28, 201511 yr Like the look of the island range. Have you seen the sample ones on ebay going for stupid money?? That Jamaica looks bob on, Mexicana-esque.
January 28, 201511 yr Trainers should be bought from Matalan or Tesco and cost no more than £12 Why pay that much, these beauties retail at a mere £10 (Asda)... How much must they be paying the poor sod who makes them, about 12p an hour?
