Denial by the club in the BEN.

Careless talk by a vaguely interested party.

Nothing to see here...

The red thing is a Chinese superstition not a Thai one.

Boooooooooooooooooooo

Stop all this sense stuff; folk want a sensationalist moan around here

I don't think this will have a happy ending.

not that it's my decision but it's a no from me.

the possible negatives scare me more than my want for the possible positives.

On a similar note, that Thailand Cafe in town does a belting takeaway.

If they can get the food contract at the ground, I'm in.

Playing in red?

I'm out.

I've read the small print, as the manager has red hair, we're covered.

I don't think this will have a happy ending.

Just mentioned it on 5 live, may be something in it.

It says on that wiki page that Scott Green has been heading up the sports consultancy for this thai mob

The plot thickens

I think there is a conspiracy going on somewhere

Aye, called a slow sports news day.

Seen as we have invested millions into the infrastructure.. The properties alone must be worth more than that..

I would assume that they'd also be taking on the 'debt' as well.

Money into club = good thing in terms of getting back go Premier League

FFP?

I think Eddie would have to wipe a large portion if not all the debt if he got 40 million and the debt was cleared think he would be happy with that.

My man on the inside has confirmed Scott Green is acting as front man for the consortium

Burt Rylan is acting as an advisor too

I think we've been lucky in having an owner whose heart is in the club, rather than a foreign owner, where the club just becomes a vehicle for their massive egos.

FFP?

Yeah, just sign an ad deal for loads of banners for Thai footie for £10 million.

I think that's how PSG fell foul of the regulations. Owners are allowed to invest in the infrastructure but not just give the club money in a 'sponsorship' deal that's out of all proportion to the going rate.

The puzzling thing about the article is that one of the things they seem to be attracted by is that all the infrastructure is in place, so i'm not sure how they would add value, other than by clearing the debt.

Is that why we got the Green third kits? All too convenient if you ask me.

Red must be fourth kit

Other 90's Wanderer Michael Brown is also involved, so Brown will be the away kit

That's where I am too. Even more so if the debt was to be transferred rather than written off.

I don't mind the Championship and think with a good manager we can challenge again so I see more risk than reward in a foreign takeover. Obviously that assumes Eddie carrying on is an option.

Apart from any potential investment this could make, I'm more worried about any potential this could have for unsettling the manager.

Any talks given when he applied for the position didn't include any new owners.

Maybe thats how we managed to get a manager like Lennon, maybe he was told about the investment?? unlikely i know but hey what the hell

Any potential new owner would have different level of investment surely?

He wouldn't know what was ahead, and would be a gamble on whatever stipulations that new owner would bring.

You'd want to know who you are working for, the relation you'd have. Taking a negative stance I know, but why would you risk having an owner who'd for example want a director of football?

Avram Grant is technical director of their Thai club, uurgh.

And Sven has been a manager for them in the past.
