No idea. But personally I'm not keen on foreign ownership.

I think it's a wind up, as a deal has already been done for Kia to buy us when we go into administration

It works for more clubs than it doesn't.

im not sure it does, though when it does work it seems to work very well

if theyve got the money and were serious i'd welcome anybody on board

My point was for every horror story like Leeds or pompy there's a Leicester or a hull.

Like you say if someone wants to invest, get em on board.

Unless we get promoted on a shoe string theres fook all revenue coming from anywhere else.

I'd rather be Hull than Ipswich.

Bolton wanderers better known as the trotters

Fuck off

I'd rather be Hull than Ipswich.

I'd rather be neither.

Says that this could be a great vehicle to get Thai players into European football. Didn't I hear the same thing at Man City? And Birmingham and it didn't wofk for either. Also seem interested in our assets although that isn't necessarily in a negative way. I am open minded, Eddie has obviously decided that his wife"s health comes first and fair do"s to him. If true, this does look more interesting than e.g. Vincent Tan. With a Far East media partner, the opportunities are huge. We need investment and so far there haven't been too many takers!

We need investment, no question. I'm confident ED and Gartside won't progress this is they don't trust those making the bid.

First time I've ever heard us linked with a foreign takeover. Hard not to be excited.

They could rename us Bolton Trotters.

Makes me feel sick Tbh..

40m... Doubt that very much..

Maybe not a takeover deal but one where they can send players to our academy

Thai restaurant in the Whites Hotel

That'll be about it.

The Hull owner lived in Hull 50 years and he's baling out if he can't call them Hull Tigers.

Its not the poisoned chalice folk make out.

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Unless we speculate, which we don't think ED is prepared to do,then we are going to he twatting round in this division for a very long time.

There's probably nothing in the article but its good gauge people's thoughts when it possilby does happen.

Why doubt 40m?

Seen as we have invested millions into the infrastructure.. The properties alone must be worth more than that..

I think with our current situation we can't afford not to consider outside investors.

Nice list of films on that page - SARS Wars?, Saving Private Tootsie ?

It has assets yes. But has lost money year on year since 2006, how much do you think Eddie wants?

The good news, if it happens, is that the usual folk who like to be angry will have another excuse to "never go again" and generally complain just for the sake of it

Whatever they do I hope it's sorted quick.

This hanging around for ages is definitely degenerative for progress.

Not really. Most wil just go on its merits.

Money into club = good thing in terms of getting back go Premier League

Foreign ownership by a corporation = not necessarily so good. As stated above, could go either way. Depends on the deal and the safeguards put into place.

It's probably a load of toss. But if it happens, I suspect Davies will want some long term guarantees for the future of the club rather than having a fire sale.

Playing in red?

I'm out.

The red thing is a Chinese superstition not a Thai one.
