May or may not be an omen mate - went on a business lunch at the Adelphi in Perth on Wednesday. Bloke made manager of the place is call Des and is a Forest fan from Nottingham. Next day, a bloke contacts me as he's visiting Perth and heard about tonights scooter club Christmas do and wanted a ticket. Caught up with him in a CBD coffee bar to get a ticket to him. A lad from Doncaster and a scooterist (of course). Works for a company called Haki UK - some sort of Swedish new wave scaffolding system? Quick chat and I asked the usual 'You support Donny Rovers?'. "Nah, mate, United.......................................................of the Rotherham variety" He left the pause just so I could think 'what a cunt' and then went on to tell me he lives on the edge of Donny towards Rotherham and his Dad and next door neighbours have always been Rotherham so he is.
