New Zealand

I like my mainland Spain and Lanzarote holidays but thinking of New Zealand next December/January for my (cough) 50th treat.

Any advice on flights, when to book stopovers etc would be appreciated.

Ta in advance.

boltys only 2 inches away on the map so could nip over see him too...

I couldn't think of a thinly veined excuse.

How long for?

You could do a round the world, taking in, for example, LA, Hawaii (for Christmas?), NZ, then Malysia, Dubai

If you have time, you might as well as you are t'other side of the world

JayJay Oghani, anything to get out of paying for a round.

If your coming out in Dec or Jan try and avoid the xmas, new year times as it gets very busy on the flights and they are hard to get plus its more expensive at that time with all the kiwis coming home for xmas and new year.

I have only flew with either Emirates or Singapore Airlines, they both fly into Manchester, and are excellent airlines.

There are lots of places for stopovers anywhere in Asia, take your pick.

Hope you make it over its a great country, lots to see and do,and at the time you are coming it will be middle of summer so should get some good weather. Btw Bolty is in Perth i believe about 5-6 hours flight away.

Fucking hell, I had already started stacking up cartons of ale. It's only round t'fucking corner FFS!

It depends what you're into. South Island is probably better for natural beauty. North Island has a better climate plus Auckland its biggest city.

You'll inevitably have to make choices. We're currently holidaying with friends visiting us. 2 weeks and we won't even do South Island.

If you do visit, Milford Sound is a must. Most beautiful place I've ever seen.

Get in touch if you plan on visiting Christchurch too.

Mate of mine did same. Not PG is he?
