If no one has expressed any interest in signing him in the summer why would he hang around waiting for them? Plenty of players have stayed put and missed their chance.

I can't imagine that any big club really gives a fuck about paying under £1 million for a player they want, and get them a few months earlier.

he was been a "revelation" under Lennon, of that there's no doubt, general play counts for a lot also

 

but so has clough and the rest of the team

The are moving diddles to Sarf London; all expences paid and a nice batchelor pad. His mum has been allowed to go with him as well

But you're assuming signing another player depends entirely on getting a transfer fee for Chungy. And even if it does, we're not going to get anyone nearly as good to replace him. Certainly not for the same fee.
