Will Chungy Play For Bolton Again?

Interesting article in the Bolton news tomorrow from Neil Bonnar posing the question will Chungy will ever play for Bolton again. Seems a strange article unless he has some inside knowledge.

  • whilst you are right that we don't really know the club's financials, what we do know is that he will cost us around 400k in wages, whilst we could get £1M for him   and he's leaving in the summer,

Pathetic if we let him go for 500k. It seems we are desperate to get shut of him.

For 500k I would keep him for these remaining 19 games

With him in we have an outside chance of nipping in the playoffs

Wouldn't mind if it was LCY out and Commons in but that looks dead in the water

If it adds to Lennons summer transfer kitty I wouldn't be too upset with selling Chungy for half a million tbh.

Has Tom once gone out on loan yet?

Worth a swap with Hull

How about Tom Twice? Or Tom Three Times? Or is he a lady?

It looks like he already has.

A loan moves givesBolton Nothing

A loan fee & wages off the wage bill > paying wages & loyalty bonus & zero transfer at the end of the season.

Chungy playing for Bolton > Chungy not playing for Bolton. Couldn't give a fuck about a financial situation we know NOTHING about.

Except we do. The club's accounts and the constraints within which it operates are both published. Do the math.

Exactly how much is Chungy on per week? Exactly how much will the loan fee be? Exactly how much is this "loyalty bonus"? And most importantly, why does any of that matter as a fan? There's nothing you nor I can do about it, so shouldn't we simply want the best players playing for our club?

I didn't give any indication I had the answers to these questions, no idea why you are asking me. I just pointed out the inaccuracy in your post.

My post was perfectly accurate. None of us know ANYTHING about any of the financial implications of Chungy staying or going. All we know is, we'll lose one of our best players if he goes. Simple as that.

As I previously stated, and I can see why you are struggling with this, our accounts and the constraints within which we operate are both published. The financial implications of him staying or leaving can therefore be deduced, if you have a really hard think.

Explain the implications then...

Typical get-out for someone who can't back up what they're saying. Never mind.

It's a bit like your mate, who says he's skint and has skipped the round all night in the boozer. treating himself to a Curry on the way home.

Sickening...
