Spider Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Taking a diplomatic view, I think it is fair to say that there are several on here who give up a lot for the cause and many more who have done previously but for one reason or another can't now. The point is everyone goes to games as often or as rarely as they can, but does it really matter given were all Bolton at the end of the day(except for 2 Munich cunts, who should be trapped in Salford for the rest of their lives). There were several seasons in a row when you could count on 1 hand how many games I missed. Now, I have 2 kids. One is a football mad 8 year old lad who loves the Whites, but the other is a 1 year old girl who thinks the world begins and ends with Frozen. Chuck in a poorly mum, Saturday shifts for the missus and me being all over the shop with work and it means I'm very much a part timer. Doesn't make me any less of a fan. If we're throwing our fan medals on the table I'll always raise you a night trip to Exeter with about 80 other whites, or an away outing to The Dell that turned into a 3 night piss up and almost cost me my life. Most on here have done their time, or are doing so. I always stick with the Bolty adage that if you're a white, you're 51% alright. Quote

bolty58 Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Brings back memories for more than one code. Played there a few times as a schoolboy and also for the Bolton Braves, Still scarred by our first ever game in the Budweiser League. A 66-0 thumping by the Glasgow Diamonds. Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 What was the record attendance for Grundy hill? I remember going on when they played and won that national trophy a good few years back against a team of the south coast there was decent crowd on that day. Quote
