Absolutely - with tea I like to put in about 2cm of water with the bag once the water is almost boiled and let it have a good soak - then add the remainder once the rest of the water is fully boiled.

I thought there was only me who did that.

You fucking weirdo :D

I like the thought that anyone googling Guy Martin will end up learning how to make the perfect cuppa :D

People who drink instant coffee are fucking heathens.

On the other hand - people who fanny about with percolators are lying to themselves and each other - that the extremely bitter beverage which ends up in my mug tastes better than nescafe.

I'll give you coffees from a shop though.

Two bags one cup.

Leave one bag in for duration of consumption.

Milk doesn't belong in Tea & never really used too until we started serving it in China cups. The milk goes into the China cup first, as adding boiling water to the fine China directly normally cracked it.

You shouldn't really use boiling water either. Different Tea's have different optimum temperatures for the water to be, it's all to do with the Tannin's, though you're pretty much safe with a PG tip bag.

Won't really affect my giant sports direct mug then?

I need to try this one, later on. I agree its true Tea tastes better out of bone china, especially for thirst.

Bought some instant from shop a few weeks back that tastes just like ground coffee.. I'll post a pic later as I can't remember the name

When someone offers me a cup of coffee and it's Nescafe or any other instant they might as well be serving up Horlicks or sommat, I really don't think instant tastes much like actual coffee anymore. It's alreet as a drink in itself, but a poor second to ground coffee, this isn't borne of snobbery either as two 200g of Lavazza Red are just £5 at Asda and I'll even drink the cheap Percol stuff, 79p for 150g. Get a stovetop pot and you're laughing, I wouldn't wipe my arse with one of those Bodum things though, they are shite.

Some of the cheap instants, they're like (bad) whizz, I'm sure they stick in the spare caffeine they remove from the Decaff coffees to pep up their shite stuff and give it a kick.

Nescafe Al Jazeera or sommat? Looks like Hot Chocolate powder? Again, it's alreet, but it's just not the same as real coffee.

They've started using micro grinds of actual coffee in some instants now. Tastes next but much prefer the cafetiere

Two bags one cup.

Wasn't that one of your infamous videos?

Wasn't that one of your infamous videos?

Yep.

It involves Gaffer and Sydney tea bagging Tina whilst Archie brews up.

Carte noir whole instant

tell us about yorkshire tea

:D

The morons over here will literally buy anything if it's got the word Yorkshire on it.

I ask them to tell me about the World famous Yorkshire Tea Bush & which part of Yorkshire it's grown in. They look crestfallen when I tell them it'll be a blend of the off cuts & shite swept up from the picking rooms floor.

Yet they'll still swear blind it's the best tea int'world, then pop home & put on their Special Sheep Shagging Wellies, backward retards.

Lancashire Tea is betterer
