I need to get involved with NFL again, but need to choose a team. Was always a Dan Marino Miami Dolphins shirt wearing kid, but need some advice.

Which team is it worth following? Thinking about going down to Wembley to watch a game - anyone done it? Any help welcomed. Could just stick with the Dolphins and get tickets off Stub Hub for their game against New York Jets the day after the QPR game.

Which are the Liverpool/Man Utd of the NFL world to avoid?

On the Packers. I’d love them to do it I really would. Genuine NFL team. When I first started watching NFL I was torn between them and the Redskins. If it hadn’t been for Riggins and Theismann I’d have been a Packer

And now you're destined to a life of misery

Are you saying you're a Redskin mate :shok: The cabal of fuckwits on here will be after you! :D

I’m hunkered down awaiting the onslaught

I follow the Jets

Calling anyone out for their choice of team would be a dim choice

Looking forward to the raiders game tonight

Tough game but very winnable

The football team

Apparently it's set to one of the coldest ever home games for the Bills tonight

I'll try and stay up but on the beer at 5 so unlikely

Best bet is to drink myself into oblivion early doors, fall asleep on the sofa and hope I wake up mid game

Which makes it slightly closer than I have it if the weather was fair where I think bills win easy. That said they should still win.

The abbreviation WFT is close enough to WTF to fit the sides fortunes recently so it works for me.

Ha ha I’ll leave the Redskins stuff and move on

Anyway…..did I just hear in this game that the Bengals haven’t won a playoff game in 31 years? Has any team got a worse record?

Just woke up on sofa in time for the 3rd Bills TD

Just looked at the ins and outs of how the play offs work. Confusing as hell. More so that a team that finished 3rd plays a team that finished top - at home in a play off. That seems unfair.

Anyway, that’s me not bothering reading up about stuff again!!

Oh and teams from the same division (group of 4) - then playing each other in a play off - seems odd.

It's not that complicated really, it's just new to you.

Everyone plays the same number of games, you're seeded based on overall record.
You can win 12+ games and finish second in your division, but you can win a division with 9 games.

A team winning 12 has had a better season than the one winning 9.

Aye, if Allen can keep that up then they could go all the way

Defence was on top form too, some great intercepting going on, particularly the one at 7-0

I was only going to watch a quarter or a bit longer, but the more the Pats were getting crushed, the less able I was to turn off.

Definitely cheering on Steelers at the Cheifs

It's the difference between Bills at home to Bengals next, or away at the Chiefs

Eagles are diarrhoea

Short of TJ Watt smashing Mahomes out of the game on the 1st drive there's no hope of the steelers winning tonight.

Typical cowboys ending  😂
