frank_spencer Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Won't get past the Pats though so that's going to be any teams stumbling block Quote
L/H White Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Thanksgiving tomorrow so wall to wall football on Sky Sports and Pick TV have one of the games on as well for the scutter without sky sports.  thanksgiving dinner on at work tomorrow, i'm thinking of having that then getting home and watching both games just noticed the raiders v panthers game is live on sky to this weekend, which is nice  They won't win it, mate, so save your 50p.  Not as good as Seattle, as much as that sticks in my throat too.  As for Panthers, they're overdue to dick someone.  maybe not, but it would have been a decent run e/w at 50's my friend Quote
frank_spencer Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Bit gutted that steelers Colts is the night time game. Going have to get up early and watch it before the school run. Quote
Traf Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 I'm off to the pub to watch Foreskins v Cowgirls with some mates who "follow" those teams. Quote

Traf Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 You's expect so. Especially if those two rookies keep firing Quote
mickbrown Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Read an article about NFL with folk complaining that the games are taking too long to get through and ways they could speed it up. Â Some games are taking 3 and a half hours to complete. Â The actual time the ball is in play is something like 12 minutes. Quote
Traf Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 11 mins, they reckon, but I don't hear many complaints. Â It's far more entertaining than Premier League football. Quote

The number of TV timeouts being reduced could speed it up dramatically but would also eat in to the money coming in. Â The NFL produce condensed games for the Game Pass app. They go from just before the snap to the whistle and the full game takes about 20mins. Â Before I became a cheapskate and binned it off I watched pretty much every game the day after like that Quote

People don't wanna be canvassed, they wanna see other people throw a ball about. Edited November 23, 2016 by e2e4 Quote
bolty58 Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 That Wolverines at Buckeyes game was superb. Quote
frank_spencer Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 That Wolverines at Buckeyes game was superb. The stream of expletives I got sent to me at the end by my Michigan supporting mate would make a docker blush. Â Cracking viewing as a mutual though. Â As for the grown ups games on Thursday having Ben, Brown and Bell all at the top of their game is a formidable combo for the Steelers. It hasn't happened often enough this season though. The Cowboys were very impressive once again. Matt Stafford looks to be able to play to his ability finally Quote
Spider Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 The Cowboys look like they could go all the way. Â Mixed feelings. So long as it's at the expense of the Raiders that's fine. Quote

Their defence is a bit suspect and if the steelers had been able to tackle they should have won that game. Quote
bolty58 Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Just win baby   Enjoyed that game. Not sure they'd have won if Carr hadn't come back with a repaired nose picking finger. Quote
Traf Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 Raiders were unconvincing, but will now win the division. Â Denver v Kansas was amazing. 0-0 after 24 mins then KC scored a safety. Â It ended up going to the last second of OT with KC scoring a field goal in off the post. Quote

Zico Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 Bills v Raiders  In theory the bills could still make the playoffs  Their record would have them top in some leagues  Anyway  Fuck you LH Quote

bolty58 Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 easy win for the raiders tomorrow  Sit on my shaft   I have this one rated as a close one. Can see an OT victory - most likely for the Raiders. Quote
frank_spencer Posted December 4, 2016 Posted December 4, 2016 OBJ Vs AB84 today. Gotta say I think Beckham will destroy the steelers secondary. I can see it being a case of last score wins. Quote
