January 11, 20179 yr Just heard his press conference. Jesus, what a rambling fuckwit. The press are going to rip him to shit over the next few years and he'll have a coronary firing back a mad twitter rant in capitals, 'cos they always win arguments, remember kids. The next few years are going to be fun I've just had a listen. Jesus Christ - I'd be embarrassed watching that on a reality TV programme - nevermind from the' leader of the free world'.
January 11, 20179 yr Whilst he is a complete and utter dick and not presidential material (understatement), the US liberal establishment is morning the departure of Obama. Aside of Obamacare (which hasn't been an overwhelming success?), I can't see that Obama achieved much.

Aside of Obamacare (which hasn't been an overwhelming success?), I can't see that Obama achieved much. Obama was pretty much hamstrung throughout his presidency which was a shame. Not least by inheriting the responsibility of dealing with the shitstorm of collapsing banks on pretty much his first day in office. We'd better pray that nothing as monumental as this happens while the president elect is in charge.

January 11, 20179 yr In what way? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/columnists/christopherbooker/4413546/This-is-the-sub-prime-house-that-Barack-Obama-built.html
January 11, 20179 yr http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/columnists/christopherbooker/4413546/This-is-the-sub-prime-house-that-Barack-Obama-built.html I think the collapse was the sum of a lot of different parts. Trying to lay it squarely at Obama's feet seems like a bit of a hatchet job - although if what this bloke is saying is true then yes - perhaps he was partially responsible.

January 11, 20179 yr Weren't both houses democrat fro the first two years of his reign?Yes But it was during the worst 2 years the country had seen since the Great Depression (at least economically) By the time that had started bottoming out he had lost both houses I'm glad he was in charge at that tough time, like has been said above a nutter like Trump at the helm and it could have been much worse Edited January 11, 20179 yr by birch-chorley
January 11, 20179 yr Weren't both houses democrat fro the first two years of his reign? Yeah - and a good job too. If the Republicans had chosen to be as obstructive in those first two years as they have for the remainder of his time in office then the whole system might have collapsed.
January 11, 20179 yr We all knew Trump was a clown but fuck me he is managing to come across even worse these days. He isn't even president yet and it's all getting too much for him.
January 12, 20179 yr Tiresome. Yes, Trump is an inexperienced politician but that is exactly what the people voted for instead of more of the same political elite shite. She was a horrible option and I am glad she was rejected. Bent as a nine bob note. The actors guild (odious fuckers) and elements of the Democratic Party favouring press will try and throw as much shit as they can at him because, just like whingeing fucking Remoaners who are completely incapable of being gracious losers, they can't handle the result and would like to derail the Trump train before it is even given a chance to build up .a head of steam. My advice would be to pull your fucking heads in, give the bloke a year or two in office and then start making judgements. If he really turns out to be a clown then fire away. If, however, he does wonderful things for business confidence and therefore the US economy resulting in all sorts of improvements to health care and other things then be gracious enough to admit you were wrong to pillory the bloke before he has even had one day in office. On the Obama's, I too will miss them. Barack was a breath of fresh air, a great orator and came across as a hell of a nice bloke. I did not like his intervention on behalf of the Remain side of the EU referendum and am pleased to see that his 'back of the queue' comment now looks like total bollocks. Happy to acknowledge that the humour and sense of fun he and his delightful missus injected into the world of politics will be sorely missed and I really hope she does stand for office at some time in the future as I believe she would very likely win in a hand canter.
January 12, 20179 yr Let's for a minute say that he dropped his trousers and had a shit right in front of all the media at the press conference yesterday - would he still be completely free from any criticism as we should 'give him a year or two'? Granted I don't think he would go that far but he can still be held to account when he holds a press conference that makes him look like an absolute amateur Would you have afforded Hillary the same year or two grace? Whilst you say that she is bent as a nine bob note, is this based on any facts or is it more down to the 'fake news' that Trump had been putting out there for the last year? Glass houses and stones, he's got to power by spouting bollocks / fake news and he's going to have to live with it coming the other way whilst he's in office. He won't be able to have his cake and eat it

WHAT A STUPID QUESTION THAT REALLY IS. THE POLITICAL NOUS WILL IMPROVE WITH TIME. Would you have afforded Hillary the same year or two grace? DUE TO PROOF ON WIKILEAKS, I WOULDN'T HAVE GIVEN HER A NEW YORK SECOND. CORRUPT AND DISHONEST. January 12, 20179 yr Bolty - he might well improve while he's in office - I hope to fuck he does. But the early indications aren't exactly positive. As for Barrack - I was a bit disappointed with his intervention on the EU as well. I thought it came across as condescending and counterproductive.
January 12, 20179 yr Something to think about http://video.gq.com/watch/the-closer-with-keith-olbermann-still-supporting-donald-trump-this-message-is-for-you And he was on twitter saying he didn't mock a disabled guy even though there's a video of him doing just that
January 12, 20179 yr The bloke is a serial liar and fantasist. I hope to fuck he improves Bolty because they are well and truly goosed if not.
January 12, 20179 yr If I had to put money on it - I'd bet against him getting through a full term - but who knows.
