Players Now Paid Then?

The first letter of each word being capitalised. And no H in where. Poor Jay.

Seriously though, it's the type of thing that we all know footballers do and I have no problem with it. However, he needs to think a bit before he blurts stuff out on social media given current circumstances.

But as has already been alluded to above, we hardly have a manager now who can have a quiet word with him about his off field conduct.

i hope that one day the height of my worries is a rich footballer buying a car

Not a worry at all he can do what he wants.

Just don't splash it all over the Internet when the club is in crisis and staff aren't getting paid.

I stand barefooted on Lego every morning.

Never any less annoying :)

What a brick.

Not a worry at all he can do what he wants.

would we be in less of a crisis if he didn't post it?

would everybody get paid?

it really doesn't matter

if hes doing his job to the best of his ability, we really cant ask for owt more

True, unless it adds just a little more toxicity to the situation, which is hardly helpful

And fans are scrambling round to raise £20K for the staff when another of the (better paid) staff has just spunked over £20K on a car. Just highlights the state we are in, and that Spearing is a massive cunt.

I'm a capitalist heartless bitch and even I think the lad should've thought a little before putting it on social media. Whether he bought it or not is of no concern to anyone, shoving it on the Internet was crass.

I reckon it's spearing's way of telling us that everything will be fine, it's BAU

He's more clever than we imagined

I doubt it, if he's a scouse.

Come on cas it's not crime of the century or a cause for immense concern but it's insensitive at best we're in exceptional circumstances I don't think it's a lot to ask that he modifies his behaviour slightly given that fact he has a responsibility to his employers, colleagues and other stakeholders ie fans at BWFC to think before he acts - get your dad a thank you present fine just don't announce it to the world poor do in my opinion

Thick as shit footballer in " more money than brains" shocker.

What Spearing does with his own money is nothing to do with anyone else, but having already fallen foul of social media judgement once for his Ibiza holiday, Spearing is a prize twat for publicising his spending at a time when the club is in a financial mess & a few less well paid staff are fearing for their future.

I doubt it, if he's a scouse.

Actually he's from the Wirral (well Wallasey), so Posh Scouse.

Feed the scousers let them know it's Christmas time.

same here, and I am on twitter, absolutely no interest in following footballers though.

anybody getting annoyed by this needs to give their head a wobble

Well, posh-accent scouse anyway.

How do we know the players hadn't already done something for the staff once they knew they may not be paid?
