Wanderers 1 Leeds 2 - Cup

Well the false hope after beating the mighty Eastleigh & Milton Keynes was shot down after 10 minutes (surely Amos should have saved that ) , heads dropped & we were outplayed by a well organised, hard working, but nothing special Leeds side.

On the ball, Trotter was our best player, but defensively Leeds were too quick for him & our defence was getting outnumbered. & upfront our forwards were outnumbered by their defenders......did they have more men than us ?

Not good.

NL quote: "I don't know why it took us so long to start playing."

Well I'll give you a clue. Leeds wore trackie tops for the 5 minutes standing around shaking hands and being photographed.

Not only were they less cold, but they knew that however cold they felt, Bolton felt colder.

The way the team is set up is so easy for the opposition to counter. Madine on his own usually with two defenders for company even when he wins headers there's no one there to pick up the pieces .We should play Woolery up with Madine & leave Wellington on the bench .We need three scrappers in midfield which would include Danns & Trotter plus maybe Spearing

Feeney has to play given he doesn't shirk a shift even if he does avoid a tackle or two.Pratley can have rest for me too much time spent flapping in no man's land.
