  • This.   If Hamilton was so slow, why didn't Britney just pressure him?   Rosbergs the dirtiest twat out there, trying to run Hamilton off the track at Austria, Barcalona, last year that bollocks

It's probably living with these sore losers down here for a while but I am sort of glad Andy Murray has a bit of junkyard dog 'win at all costs' mentality about him.

If you'd have inserted Eddie Jones, it would have been alreet.

Doing very well Murray. Good luck to him.

He's still a bit of a miserable twat like but must make allowances for Dunblane.

He drove brilliantly to try to slow Rosberg to a pace another car, well cars, could overtake him

I know nowt about F1 so the answer is probably be no as he wouldn't have done it, but would slowing down to bring others closer to Rosberg not then mean that Rosberg would be closer to Hamilton and therefore at risk of being tookover?

Or is it one of those courses where there's generally fuck all chance of overtaking?

If Hamilton had shot off from the start, Rosberg would have followed him, as their cars are by far the fastest - they would have left everybody else behind.

By slowing the race down, it forced the cars to bunch up, when that happens, even the slightest slip by Rosberg might have let one or two of the other cars through  -  Every other driver, in Hamiltons position, would have done the same. Rosberg kept his cool though and just sat behind Hamilton and didn't bottle it, fair play to him

hamiltons best chance went when verstappen spun on the first lap

that daft fcuker may well have taken rosberg off the track

You're mellowing   ;)

We were talking about this yesterday.  It's not a sport I would go out of my way to watch, but when I do I get drawn in and can watch it for hours.

Been listening to Deadmau5 & Kaskade  ;)

Normal service will be resumed  :D

Ah right

Hadn't realised what the standings were prior to the start and what needed to happen so Hamilton shooting off at the start would do him no good

It's still dull as fuck though however a few wacky races style tactics could liven it up or every few laps some old dear going round in a corsa which they have to avoid

Agreed, they should be watering certain parts of the track, and each car should have a special button that emits a small oil slick (can only be used once a race) - that would liven things up a bit

Hamilton also had to be careful of allowing Nico to get too close- he could have passed him or deliberately crashed into him.

For his team to be issuing orders like that was unfair.

Interesting to hear Rosberg was squeeling and asking for Hamilton to let him past. Soft twat.

Anyway he maintained his second place without too much hassle which is all he needed to do.

That's like my dad telling me he's going to creamfields :)

Lolcano.

I must have been watching a different post-race to others. He congratulated Rosberg as soon as they got out of the cars (before they took their helmets off) and shook his hand on the podium too (before Coulthard asked him to do it again). For two people who hate each other, I'm not sure what else was expected. He was hardly going to give him a reach around to say well done.

This.

Rosbergs the dirtiest twat out there, trying to run Hamilton off the track at Austria, Barcalona, last year that bollocks during quali in Monaco, Spa etc. To hear him on the radio asking the team to get Hamilton to move over made me cringe.

If Hamilton had had decent reliability and wasn't out on the lash for the first half of the season Rosberg would have been nowhere. This was Rosbergs last chance as with the new regs next year he's fucked.

Remember that incident when rosberg just happened to go down some adjacent track area to stop the qualifying session.

He really is a big girls blowse. Can you tell Lewis to let me pass- nob!

Hopefully Hamilton will get a better focus next year and will cream it.

Game on next year with new rules

Verstappen could be the smart bet

What's changing in the rules thats so dramatic?

All sorts

More revolution than evolution

It'll be like the year when button won driving Ross Brawns car

They'd won it before the rest caught on

I'm really no expert, but I saw that Verstappen lad carve the field up the other week.

He's like a joyrider.

He'll either kill himself or be champion, can't see anything in between.

the name verstappen conjures up this memory for me

Has he got you a ticket?

Has he got you a ticket?

I'm not allowed to go :)

I've got a lot of time for the lad, he's a natural and doesn't give a shit what anyone says. At Brazil under the safety car whilst everyone else was on the blower moaning it was too dangerous Verstappen was looking for grip off the racing line. He pulls overtakes off where other drivers least expect it.
