Some Lib Dems in the Guardian are claiming they would win an election if May called it in 2017 on an anti Brexit ticket. Deluded idiots.

 

 

Centrist politics are a waste of time. Nothing would ever get done. Not only are they deluded idiots but the arrogance of the newly elected gummy bear was astounding. Their anti Brexit stance is an insult to democracy and they should change their party name to LibDims.

 

Have to admit that Corbyn surprised me with his comments on the referendum result. I suppose he has to get something right sooner or later.

 

Trying to equate recent referendum and election results to a rise in Nazism however is utterly stupid. Austria and Italy may be about to give him something to think about.

 

Hopefully UKIP can start to grow again and take votes away from the red rags

There are so many threats to it from undemocratic bastards who don't want to accept the result of the referendum and will try everything from stalling tactics to seeking a second referendum and all points in between (including forcing the government to reveal its plans to make it easy for eurocrats to play hardball).

Having married into an Italian family (Terroni not Polentoni - it will mean something to those in the know), I can tell you that the south want out of the Euro and do not believe the EU has done anything for them. The want the reintroduction of the Lira.

 

Conversely, I work for an Italian company from Northern League territory and their view is the polar opposite.
