Burndens Bogs Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Done a few over the years, Brum,Derby, Citeh, Villa , Burnley, Wiggin Burnley was the most "interesting" Quote
Walshyt Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Was in Stretford End when we won 1-0 at OT, Nolan scored. Also been in a box at Utd when we got dicked 4-0 on Ronaldos debut. Slightly different experiences. Quote
darrener Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Witton albion away in the cup, got escorted round to the away end after falling out with a couple of their fans. Bury in the play offs, thought we were on our own until we scored and most of the end jumped up. Quote

Zico Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Ha ha ha I reckon I can pinpoint one or two of those individuals well, one day before the game, I'm £70 overdrawn and owed £75 on tickets fucking pikeys Quote
Cheshirewhite Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Sheff U 1 Mighty Whites 2 poor game, both teams happy with a draw but we nick it with minutes to go Quote
VisitingBlade Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Snakes pass or 62? Snake - definitely. Take the Glossop hit, the Snake drops you in the city centre and on the right side of the city for the ground/parking. Quote
VisitingBlade Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Sheff U 1 Mighty Whites 2 poor game, both teams happy with a draw but we nick it with minutes to go We're never happy with a draw - we'll be going for it right up until the final whistle, one of our traits. Our wing backs are often in the 6 yard box in the last few minutes - we throw everything forward until the last. Quote
Carlos Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 My brother grew up in Glossop, knowing the back roads is a bonus. Quote
MickyD Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Also notably Swindon cup semi final (missed tkts in our end) A mate of mine was sorting tickets for me and MrsD and hadn't come up with any when it was sold out. Bolton got sent an extra 200 or so but they were in the home stand... and not even together. 3 or 4 here, half a dozen there. It was fucking stupid. It only ever got to idle threats about waiting for us outside so we walked round the pitch and out with the rest of the Bolton fans. Wife was about 6 or so months pregnant with first. Quote

VisitingBlade Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Live sat Nov can be very handy Usually flicks you up to the right, then left, running parallel to the main drag Down Mottram hill, right at the Gun Inn, left at the mini roundabout, right at the Pear Tree boozer. Follow that road for 2 miles, turn right and it brings you out at the start of the snake. All Glossop traffic avoided. Visiting Blade - your trusty sat nav. Quote

Carlos Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Been talked about for years. Actually feel sorry for my brother who still lives there, on Sheffield Rd, the Snake. Takes him fucking hours to get in and out of the town. Grim. Quote

Takes him fucking hours to get in and out of the town. Grim. They started building the bypass from the Sheffield end, but has never, and in my opinion will never, get sorted. I live in Hadfield, 2 minutes from Glossop, I still work in Sheffield - takes me 45/50 minutes in a morning to the centre of Sheffield. Nice quiet run. I pity anyone driving to Manchester though - that's horrific. And I've just landed a job there from May, but will be using the train. Quote

Ratwhite Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Would love Sheff U 0 that fat bastard (Madines mate) nailed on to score for them now due to twitter coverage (then do some sort of corner, being fatter simulation dance to celebrate). Anyway, fuck it/em. Cant be there, hope the correct Trotters turn up. Quote
Gumbo Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Tickets still available in three parts of the ground. I require one as working Sunday now and not tomorrow. I'd get one in the home end but my Bolton purchase history is on file. If a ticket crops up please let me know. Ta Quote
VisitingBlade Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I'll go; Sheffield United 1 v 1 Bolton Quote
Zico Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 (edited) I'm going with 0-1 Madine thought process: last time we had the upper tier, we won 1-0, the last player they wanted to score that night was Blake, who did, so this time, it'll be madine PS: VB - the right winger that night was probably Michael Johansen edit - just checked on wiki, says it was 1-1 could've sworn we won 1-0 Edited February 24, 2017 by ZicoKelly Quote
