They started building the bypass from the Sheffield end, but has never, and in my opinion will never, get sorted.

 

I live in Hadfield, 2 minutes from Glossop, I still work in Sheffield - takes me 45/50 minutes in a morning to the centre of Sheffield. Nice quiet run.

 

I pity anyone driving to Manchester though - that's horrific. And I've just landed a job there from May, but will be using the train.

Sheff utd played us off the pitch for the first 30 mins on the opening day.

If they are now playing better then it will be a cricket score.

Got a mate who has lived in London for 10 years but just bought a house in Glossop after getting a job in Stockport, (9-5 ish). Will traffic be a problem for him, he seems to think not.
