I will literally piss my sides when the great unwashed scouse cunts drive Sam out, the most delusional set of fuckwit fans ever.

  • aye   look at where he took us from and where he got us too and the situation we found ourselves in   you can bang on about the likes of Cid, McCann and Samuel, but look at the others he did great

Is it ok to now give Phil Gartside some credit for those signings? Without him Eddie D wouldn't of happened or any of the European ventures. Golden memories. Thanks P.G. RIP

Nah not at all, his type of football doesnt beat the top teams.

All depends who you class as the top teams.

I was talking to a Gooner the other day and he was at pains to stress how much they hated playing Sams teams as they never seemed to win.

Just give the bloke a chance. He almost got us into the Champions League so, with bigger and better resources, bigger crowds, more hunger etc. he should do very well. Might get his car robbed and his sheepskin nicked from the changing room too but that goes with the territory.

Oh he will get his chance, and he will be supported.

He wont be a disaster at all, its just a bit underwhelming.

Moyes was the one who got you into the CL and christened you the peoples club, this is the pinnacle of your time on the PL, granted you were knocked out before the end of august bu what more do you want?

We want more.... thats the ambition.

If that means we are are disapointed more then thats the way it is, you have to always ask for more.

Moyes did well, and in the end he lowered expectations....as proved in your post.

Todays update, he is not bothering to go with the squad to our last Europa game on thursday...sending one of his coaches....

.... let's hope he loads it up with crates of ale.

If you're already out, he won't send many first-teamers either.

Don't blame him....massive game sunday, if he can get something at castle grayskull then he has already done more than the last 3 managers!!!

Hero status beckons.

He has a chance to beat them twice in a month.......itthe hope that kills us.

you say 7th and a cup run is your ambition - in 11 years under Moyes you only finished outside the top 7 three times and one of those was 8th, plus a cup final

since he left in 4 years you've finished bottom half twice and sacked both managers - yet Moyes is the one who lowered expectations? he was the one who met them!

but aye, ask for more and end up dissapointed - that definitely seems to have been the case in potting koeman

Minimum expectation.....Moyes painted 7th as champs league wins. We wanted to push on, nothing wrong with that.

Had he not left....he may still be here. Not that he was very popular with the away lot who travelled all over the place, just to bend over and get fucked by everyone at home and abroad.

You also forgot to mention in those 4 years since he left we have had our recors prem points total, 2 semi in one of the years, and was much better in europe then he ever did.

That's like saying megson and coyle did better than Sam because we got to a cup semi and last 16 in UEFA.

No, its really not.

Actually Pablo, you're right. He's going to be a disaster and ruin your club- there's a first time for everything and you've become a bit of a managerial graveyard (like us) so it makes sense that he will finally fuck up at your place.

Had he not left....he may still be here.

Really?

Really?

Yes maybe. Bill Kenwright loved him and was heartbroken when he left.

We wanted more, and it was Moyes we was asking for more....he just went to United before he could try.

Turns out that our thought about him were right, we got max out of him.

There's no way he'd still be there. As soon as results didn't keep happening the finger would be on the trigger. Not many clubs keep a manager beyond his best before date.

You could argue that we did anyway.

Moyes was given free reign at Everton, and was never under any real pressure from Bill. He had bad seasons and humiliating losses, but was never really in any doubt about his job.

That may have changed once this new owner turned up though.

mental, whatever happened to continuity

Shows that the pressures are higher now....new owner, more ambition from them.

Hence you getting big sam ????????

Allardyce and Everton are a terrific match, faded, jaded, over blown egos and with not a lot of success to speak about for the last 30 years.
