However, if you want someone to keep you up Sam is a no-brainer and a far more proven option than a bloke who failed to keep Hull up last season. He'll stabilise Everton. He has a chip on his shoulder though and won't please all their fans. As someone says before he'll stabilise them get them top half then be sacked for a fancy foreign name who will start well but fade and leave them in trouble again having spent a fortune.
