frank_spencer
The bakery on Brandlesholme Road sell hot pork pies. My Uncle who now lives in Bournemouth has about 3 a day when he comes up to visit.
MancWanderer
It was me! When I worked in Udders, they ate them all the time. I had only had them cold and delicious so this was alien to me. I am not ashamed. Got to admit they were alien to me until I tried one at the Manc Xmas markets. I now find them a lot nicer than cold
Site Supporter Winchester White Posted August 6, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted August 6, 2017 Bowens in Aggy sell nice hot pork pies and their whist are even better. In fact all their pies are bloody gorgeous, they also do a pork & black pudding pie!

Site Supporter MickyD Posted August 6, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted August 6, 2017 What's the name of the pie shop in Kearsley which pours gravy into the steam vent holes on the top of pies from a tea pot. Great pies but messy as buggery.
